Strawberry Margarita

After much soaking,
buffing, massaging, painting
and drying it was time
to leave the salon.

With the best of intentions
I asked the proprietor,
how long must I wait
before putting on my
gym socks and shoes?

Three or four hours.
Time is up in five minutes.
I am not really sure
I want to chance
getting sock fuzz in my fresh polish.
