Little bowls of sweets from a very sweet occasion.
Discussions of old plates to be collected.
Familiar sights to take you back.
The bride herself might be there, eager to show you Easter eggs with that twinkling new monogram crayoned on them.

If you go, be prepared; to be stunned, mystified, charmed, well fed, loved, overcome, proud, awed, taken back in time, longing for the past while anticipating the future.

You will be in need of a good sleep when you get home. It is exhausting to say goodbye. The wonderful thing is though, you can go again, anytime.
