Magic cookie bars

Every once in a while I can slip these in as a change from chocolate chip cookies. No one is really thrilled with the change of pace but sometimes I just CAN NOT make yet another batch of chocolate chip cookies! There is something very satisfying about making one pan of something, cutting it into bars and being done with it!
